I´m pretty happy, got to play the CD in different places and equipment to notice the slightest errors in Mastering, because I´m a newbee at mastering, remeber? Playing it on de PC in the living room, I miss the strings, maybe on another set they´ll be too loud.

Two more to go

Two songs to mixdown (laat me bij je and uitverkorene) and I´m doubting to record an other HIT song called "Tovernaar" (magician) a song with most guitar stuff and one single phrase to be sung. Uptempo Funky shit, man. I noticed after playing 5 songs in a row that the all are err, somewhat slow? Bit dragging or so? We´ll see, One more week to go. It is what we call a "Toegift" Sorry, can´t remeber the english translation. Figure it out yourself on the internet! Work to do!

It Works!

Getting along with Cubase vst, learning by accident how to use one vst (roomverb v 2) in stead of three, saving a lot of cpu time. Because I am employed again as a printer but working in shifts, there´s ome time left before yhe kids go to sleep to master the lot. I just keep on tweaking the knobs and as a matter of fact, the sound improves by the minute. I even gain almost the same outputlevel as an official factory cd. Steinberg has got a few very useful vst plug-ins to do the dirty work!
Now for the new stuf. I´m working on a few new tracks, more bohemian stuff and even the original acoustic 12-string Nederfunk. Beware of da Acoustifunk till ya drop and so on and so on. Promised the fans that the Demo is released end of July. Two weeks left that is.
